LEWES FARMERS MARKET NEWS!
The next Lewes Farmers Markets will be on Saturday 7th and 21st October.
Due to the Lewes Bonfire Celebrations there will be no Market on 4th November.
There will be an abundance of fresh locally grown vegetables, locally reared meat and fantastic preserves & cakes.
Our award-winning market was established in 1998 and has grown to become one of the most vibrant and successful Farmers Markets in Sussex.
Each month we have around 40 producers, offering a wide range of local produce, plus seasonal guest producers to tie in with the growing year.
We visit all our producers to ensure we understand the growing or production process.
The Market runs from 9-1pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at Cliffe High Street, BN7 2AN
Farmers Market Manager
All our producers are very knowledgeable about their produce and always happy to talk about their rearing or production methods. The Lewes Farmers Market UK runs a strict accreditation process, to ensure all food is locally sourced and helps the rural economy of Sussex, and we visit all our producers to ensure we understand their growing or production process. Trading at Lewes Farmers Market
We welcome applications from local farmers and producers who would like to trade at the Market.
We have some seasonal spaces for guest producers as well as a list of potential applicants which is reviewed each time a pitch becomes available.
We try to acknowledge all applications but we receive a large number each month and so it is not always possible to respond immediately.
It is important to read our Produce Criteria.
