The Fresh Ideas Network supports community food projects which aim to make healthy/local food more easily available, accessible and affordable to local communities.
We link projects and people involved in food work at ground level, particularly in areas of disadvantage, supporting them with resources, training and a chance to meet and share ideas, by
• Promoting and enabling the sharing of good practice
• Offering training and learning opportunities
• Organising networking events
• Actively supporting the development of social enterprises
• Providing opportunities to share web-based resources
• Producing a quarterly digital newsletter (see below)
• Focusing on supporting initiatives that tackle health inequalities
• Representing community food projects at a regional level
