Lewes Farmers Market

barcombedetail WebThe market was established in 1998 and has grown to become one of the most vibrant and successful Farmers’ Markets in Sussex

Each month we have nearly 40 producers, offering a wide range of both staple and specialist local produce, plus seasonal guest producers to tie in with the growing year.

Accredited by FARMA, our stallholders are all involved in the production of their produce and are mostly based within a 30 mile radius of the town. We visit all our producers to ensure we understand the growing or production practise and that it meets the required criteria.

The market meets on the first Saturday of each month on Cliffe precinct from 9am - 1pm

Our Producers

We have a wonderful range of local producers, all of which adhere to our strict accreditation process.
They are passionate about their produces and are very happy to talk to you about their rearing or production methods and how to best use their products.
